SharePoint, Firefox, and IE

Yet another reason to use only IE when reading SharePoint (it grieves me to say it). When you’re uploading files to a document library, the ‘upload multiple documents’ option is only available when using IE. Apparently this command relies on an ActiveX control only available in IE.

I have found Firefox 3.0 to be quite buggy actually. Probably because it is a fresh release. Although Open Source Community went crazy in promoting it and achieving record downloads in first week of release, I think it requires some major bug fixes. I have noticed it also crashes a lot.
